Description

For people living with a spinal cord injury, getting into and out of a car can vary depending on individual levels of mobility and transfer ability. The Turnout & Turny Manual Swivel Seat can make vehicle access easier by rotating the entire seat 90 degrees out of the vehicle, bringing the seat closer to the person transferring. 

Unlike a transfer plate, where you move across from a wheelchair or mobility device onto the original car seat, a swivel seat brings the car seat out to you. This means you can transfer directly onto the seat while it is outside the vehicle, before manually rotating it back into the car. 

The seat can also slide forwards and backwards for comfort and locks into position for travelling. It may be suitable for drivers or passengers, depending on individual mobility and transfer needs.
